This short series was the last project of my freshman year. It also started my fondness for the square format - using the 6x6 square prompted me to compose my vision with a staunch formality. More cognizant of the frame, I was able to conjure up exactly what I wanted in this series of two triptychs called "Nostalgia." In this, I was exploring the small unincorporated town of Remington, Virginia, with all its modest, yet powerfully large attributes that reminded me of my hometown.
